Customer Reviews
Purchased this toy train and received it on Christmas Eve. Worth the price just for the Chinese attempt at English text/information on the package. Before we even opened it, the box had to be passed around for everyone to get a giggle at statements like, "simulating the true styles and making carefully." The set builds a 36" circle of plastic track. I didn't expect the track to snap together, stay together and work...but it did just fine. The loco is an EMD FT-A Diesel painted in Baltimore ; Ohio colors, but carrying "Train Specialized" on one side and "Specialized Train" on the other side of the engine. Two AA batteries go into a compartment located on the loco's roofline that is held by one small screw. A red switch on the rear of one side of the engine turns it on. The headlight is illuminated and the front truck has a single-cog wheel that pulls the loco. Ours ran fine pulling itself and the two freight cars included in the set. For it's price, it's a fun novelty. Our cats sat around the circle track and watched in amazement as the train ran on Christmas morning. The cats did get carried away at times and knocked the train over, but nothing broke and it went right back to work with no problems.
THIS IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK I HAVE EVER SEEN . DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. THE SELLER OF THIS PRODUCT COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTED THIS PRODUCT WHEN THEY ADVERTISED IT DO NOT BUY THIS
