I got this tender with the extras for my grandson Ashton's Polar Express Train set. The set came with a tender but this one offers more in the way of realistic sounds. Adds punch to the set. Very well built. Strong and should last for years. Ashton will get years of enjoyment from this addition.

Another nice addition to the Polar Express collection (again) with some disappointment considering the cost. The tender produces a decent chuff, horn, and bell sounds, but Lionel could have included more locomotive sounds. The dispatch/engineer chatter is okay, but a bit annoying after the first go round.
