I received this set as a Christmas present last year. It's perfect for extending an already good sized oval from the original set. My question is - why "9" pieces In order to make the larger oval, you need the same number of pcs on either side of the curved ends. The extra piece of track is left out. Now, give me a set with 10pcs in it, and not only would it make more sense, I'm sure they would sell more of them. Otherwise, my kids love being able to "follow" the train along its longer route, and the extra length makes the full length train look more impressive on a good straight-away. At just over $2.50 per foot, it's a great deal!

The train finally have enough rails but is good to have this if you want to expand it.
